1. Alfred Nobel – Người sáng lập giải Nobel

Khi còn nhỏ, Alfred là một cậu bé ít nói, thích đọc và hay mơ mộng. Cha cậu là một kỹ sư thất bại, cả gia đình sống trong túng thiếu. Nobel từng phải chuyển chỗ ở liên tục theo cha. Dù hoàn cảnh bấp bênh, cậu vẫn đam mê hóa học và chế tạo.

2. Napoleon Bonaparte – Nhà quân sự thiên tài

Napoleon khi nhỏ ốm yếu, nói tiếng Pháp lơ lớ vì quê cậu ở đảo Corsica. Tại trường, cậu thường bị bạn bè trêu chọc. Nhưng Napoleon không để điều đó làm mình gục ngã. Cậu say mê lịch sử, chiến lược quân sự, và luôn đứng đầu lớp trong môn toán.

Thuở nhỏ, Edison là một cậu bé tinh nghịch và vô cùng tò mò. Cậu từng ngồi ấp trứng suốt nhiều ngày như gà mái vì muốn chứng minh gà con sẽ nở ra từ hơi ấm. Cậu còn cho bạn uống axít đun nóng vì tin rằng bạn sẽ… bay được lên trời!

8. Abraham Lincoln – Tổng thống giàu lòng nhân ái

Lincoln lớn lên trong một túp lều gỗ, mẹ mất sớm, cha không biết chữ. Cậu học bằng cách mượn sách của hàng xóm, đọc dưới ánh sáng từ lò sưởi.

9. Helen Keller – Cô gái trong bóng tối và im lặng

Khi mới 19 tháng tuổi, Helen mất cả thị lực và thính giác vì một trận ốm nặng. Cô bé nhỏ sống trong thế giới không âm thanh, không hình ảnh, không chữ viết – chỉ có những cơn giận dữ và cô độc.

Schweitzer was a successful scholar, fluent in many languages, and a famous piano artist. But he gave up everything to study medicine and went to Africa to treat the poor.
